Rich Hall’s life at Riff Raff began as a treatment writer/designer (read: Chief Tea Maker), until his talent for filmmaking was noticed, and subsequently nurtured by owner, Matthew Fone. With guidance from Fone and EP Natalie Arnett, Rich has progressed from creating eye-catching treatments for other directors, to ones for his own music videos and subsequently commercials; graduating from the Nursery of Evil to the Main Roster in 2020. His unapologetically young aesthetic and astute visual eye is combined with a production maturity only achievable through having worked in the industry as something other than a director. Add to this his personal brand of ‘star-deprecating’ humour (on display in his BT Sport and Nando’s spots), and you’ve got a director set for big things - and we back him all the way.
